I have raw chapter all edited, but I can’t seem to reach my translator. What’s worse, I’m staying overtime at work this week, so I won’t be able to search for a substitute until Friday. Worst comes to worst, chapters 14 and 15 will be released together.

Okay, it’s time to address the issue, though I hoped it wouldn’t come to this. The problem is translation. Hineko, our main translator is down with kidney inflammation plus as a PhD student in the middle of midterm exams she has to prepare for her own exams, but also plan exams for her students, so she’s kind of low on time. Despite that, she kindly translated the chapter, albeit a few days later than usually. However, there are a few lines that need to be proofread and possibly retranslated. That’s why the script is currently being reviewed by our second translator, Kim. She should have it done by the end of the week, and since pages are edited, I should have the chapter out the same day I receive the translation. I just really don’t want the situation from chapter 5 (a few lines were translated wrong because of lack of proofreading and a whole chapter had to be fixed and reuploaded) happen again.

And for those who think I should just tell both of translators to hurry up: absolutely not happening. They’re not my employees, they have their own affairs, they’re actually doing me a favor by providing the translation. I can ask for extra help from others, if they’re willing to provide it, but I won’t tell them to hurry up.

That being said, I hope to have the chapter out this weekend, so don’t worry, we’re not dropping the project or anything.
